Cross-country skiing in the Seefeld Region - Tyrol's High Plateau

In the 5 towns of the Seefeld Region – Tyrol’s High Plateau – Leutasch, Mösern/Buchen, Reith, Scharnitz and Seefeld – cross-country skiers have for many years found conditions that are unparalleled anywhere in Europe: 279 perfectly prepared kilometres of trails in all degrees of difficulty inspire beginners and professionals alike. The offer of classic and skating trails is almost balanced, many trails are prepared in parallel for both running styles.

A 14-kilometre barrier-free trail awaits you in Unterleutasch. It is the longest in the region and belongs to the easy rounds. Perfectly suited for beginners with fitness, the trail offers a beautiful nature experience and you will pass a few refreshment stops to take a breather.

Cross-country skiing in Seefeld - everything you need to know

The C 9, Plaik, is ready for all cross-country skiers with practice. A challenging climb right at the beginning of the 8.7 kilometre loop rewards you with a beautiful panorama over Leutasch. Your eventful day of cross-country skiing ends with a rapid descent that takes you back to the starting point.

Dog owners can run the 2.5 kilometre long dog cross-country trail in the middle of Seefeld accompanied by their four-legged friend.

 

 

 

Those who still haven’t had enough after an exciting day can enjoy the pleasures of cross-country skiing on the good 3-kilometre-long night trail until 8 pm every day. The well-lit trail runs between Seefeld and Mösern.

Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf - skiing pleasure times 2

– both only 800 m away from the hotel. Whether snowboarders, carvers or families with children, all winter sports enthusiasts have fun on our sunny slopes. Around 20 kilometres of perfectly groomed ski slopes are at your disposal.

The ski area for everyone, from beginners to experts. 12 lifts, permanent race track at the Brunnental lift. Top stars of alpine skiing train here regularly, for example Lindsey Vonn, Eric Guay and Maria Riesch.

Just give it a try… In the evening you can bring your equipment to our secure ski room and to the ski boot room. Our free ski bus starts at the bus station.
